toad for teradata

Hi,
Our client is using Toad software for years, now we want to connect Toad for Data Analysts 2.6 using teradata connection. We already installed .net data provider for teradata 13.11.

But when we open toad for data analysts–file–connection–group, there is no option for teradata.

Please advise. Thank you.

IIRC, I don’t think .Net Teradata connectivity showed up until 3.x. That was a big reason for my team to upgrade.

TDA 2.6 can connect to Teradata through ODBC only. You will need to install a later version of TDA to get the native Teradata support.
