It sounds like you’re using Toad World within Toad to view/post to the forum. Try logging out of Toad World via the Online page in Options and use Toad without the built-in forum support. Does that help? It’s possible that querying the forum for data is slow
to respond. If that works for you you can always use the forum by going to ToadWorld.com or via email.

I recently upgraded TOAD for ORACLE from version 8 to the new 220.127.116.11 (xpert edition)
This version continually (< 90 secs intervals) pauses and goes to “not responding” Even typing this short message, it has gone to “not responding” twice and there is no connection to any database.
Is there something I can do to correct this. I am leaning very seriously on going back to my old version and getting my money back.
