Toad: show SQL statement of graphical operations

Hi folks

I use plain old Toad 8.6.0.38 and plan to upgrade.
I search for a feature that shows me the SQL statement of graphical
clicks in Toad. Thats a great way to learn SQL.
Like AIX with smit front-end (System Management Interface Tool) where
you see UNIX commands.

Does such a feature exists in newer versions?

cheers
Sven

Yes, that feature still exists.

Hi John

Does this feature also exists in Toad 8.6.0.38? How to see sql code? I
never used it, but this would be great

Yes – read about spool sql

You can send to file or screen

In 8.6, from the main menu:

Tools -> Spool SQL -> Spool SQL to Screen
