Trim trailing spaces

Hello my dear Wizards :man_mage: of Toad,

I recently stumbled over the option "Trim trailing whitespace on execute/compile"
Why not use it? -> works perfectly :slight_smile:

Then I searched (in the options) the same again for a colleague (blame my pea brain) and saw there is another one:
"Trim trailing whitespace when saved"

Ooops! This one doesn't work... Is that by design? :thinking:

Hi Chrigeli

It works, but if an editor is already open, then you change the option, then you save the editor, the option isn't applied.

If the option is already set, then an editor is opened and something is saved, the option will work.
