Hi,
I just installed Toad for SQL Server 8.1. I currently have versions 7.4 and 8.0 installed. The setup did not import any of the existing connections from version 8.0 or any settings.
Then, after I started version 8.1 (Run As Administrator checked), I selected Help → Import Settings, and I get a message saying “There are no previous version detected for Toad for SQL server to migrate settings from”. Note the message contains a typo, it should have been “There are no previous versions”.
Anyway, there are 2 versions installed and 8.1 hasn’t been able to detect them. Do you have any suggestions on how to import the settings from version 8.0? I am especially interested in importing the connections and the formatter settings, and if possible the sql commands history.
