Window Bar Buttons Moving

Good morning,

I’m using the latest beta and currently have 3 editor tabs opened, all having the same color identifying the connection though they are for different schemas. I do not have the schema name displayed on the Window bar buttons.

As I have been working, I am switching between the various windows. When I started, the first Editor button opened the editor for schema A, but I then went to the Session Browser and then clicked on that first Editor button and it opened the Editor for Schema B. I figured that I was just not paying attention and returned to what I was doing. Then I went to an Object Search and knowing that the first button opened the Editor for schema B, I cleverly clicked on the second Editor button which then opened the Editor for Schema B this time. :frowning:

I just now added the schema name to the buttons and have been able to determine that opening a new window causes the order of the buttons to change.

If you can fix this, I will be extremely grateful! I don’t like having to show the schema names on my window buttons and have gotten used to paying attention to their position as I swap between them.

Blessings,

Phyllis

I’ll investigate. I had my paws in this code recently.

That's good news that you were in the code. At least it explains why it might have changed behavior. I hate it when things change and I didn't have my paws in the code.

Thanks for looking into this, Michael!
