Windows 10 supported?

Does the Freeware 5.4 version of Toad Data Modeler support Windows 10 at this time?

If not, any plans for Windows 10 support in this version?

Will version 5.5 provide a Freeware download supporting Win 10?

Thanks!

Hi there,

TDM Freeware 5.4 does not officially support Windows 10, but you probably should not encounter any serious problems while using it on this system.

Since Toad Data Modeler 5.5 does officially support Windows 10, the next Freeware version will support this Windows version as well.

Regards,

Lukas

Lukas,

God morning. Thanks for your quick response.

Do you know the expected release date for the current versions of TOAD

Data Modeler and TOAD for SQL Server to support Windows 10?

Thanks again!

Hi Francisco,

If you are talking about next freeware version of TDM where WIn 10 will be officially supported, we expect to release one after the next full version of TDM is released (which should be sometime in June).

In the meantime, it is possible that one more freeware version will be released, though I cannot say at the moment whether it will support Win 10 or not.

You can always use the latest Beta which supports Win 10 and has a plenty of new and interesting features.

Regards,

Lukas
