Word left/right function works in a different way compare to Toad 12.6 (or Pspad for example): it doesn’t treat empty lines, empty comments correctly.
Do you confirm this issue, please?
This is fixed for next beta although there is still a difference when comparing to 12.6 as mentioned
here. Fixing that issue caused this new one. I'll revisit the other issue and see if anything can be done there.

Thanks for your correction.
I found one issue after your fix: if you press Ctrl+Right on a word that contains a period character, then cursor jumps before the second char of the word and not to the first one.
Fixed for next beta.
