Wrong 'Stop Time' for cancelled query

Table with more than 100k rows.
I do query which takes more than a few seconds to be completed.
When query is in progress, I do cancel query pressing 'Cancel' button (in 'Statement processing...' popup) or Alt+F4
and I go to: Query Viewer where I can see that Stop time is 30/12/1899 like in the picture:

what is wrong because it should be like Start time with extra few seconds (09/08/2019).
OS time is like today.
Toad base edition 2018 v. 13.1.0.78

I'm not able to reproduce this. For me, the stop time is always correct. I have tried cancelling queries, letting them finish, and trying to run queries with errors.

how long did you let it run before cancelling? does it happen every time for you?
