For me the option to search backwards is always inactive. Also the key combination Shift-F3
does not work.
Is there something that affects this, or did this break in the last beta?
Do a CTRL+F, put in some text and do a find.
Then you can F3 or Shift+F3.
I'm not saying that's "right" but I can make it become enabled like that.
Now it works again.
I had the case that F3 was active, but Shift-F3 was not, while the search window was open.
I did the same thing but it's working for me. It's still not enable the shift+f3 option.
Hi @biksham,
I just tried this in Toad version 24.2
- Open the editor
- open a file or type in some text
- CTRL+F to do a find of text that has multiple occurrences
- Close the Find dialog (or leave it open, doesn't matter)
- Hit F3 a few times. Worked.
- Hit Shift+F3 to search backwards. Worked.
If you are having problems, please provide clear steps, as well as your Toad version, so that we can reproduce the problem. Thanks.
