If so, have you had any significant problems pulling and merging changes? Any advice?

The idea of being able to merge changes to the model without using special tools is very attractive.

Theoretically, it ought to work since the model is stored in XML, which is text-based.

I’m going to try it out for awhile, but all thoughts and experiences would be appreciated.

Hi,

if your models are not too large, save the files in structured XML format. It should be easier to recognize differences in versioning software/tools then.

To change how model files are stored, click Settings | Options and in section General enable check box Save Models as Formatted XML Files.
