The navigator has been undergoing changes to improve performance. As a result, the option set has been reduced. You’ll need to reset any options that you had set to a non-default value (except for font) for the time being. If there are any missing options that are important speak up and they can be added back. The prior option set was granular and somewhat costly to implement.

SQL Recall command is missing from my View menu. I’ve just installed the whole 12.8beta on my laptop and I can’t say anything about previous releases.

Try r-clicking on the menu bar and select restore defaults.

You have to force a toolbar reset to see it. R-click on Toad’s main toolbar and select “restore defaults”

You’ll need to either reset your toolbar or customize and add it back from the View menu. There have been some changes and as a result the old SQL Recall flyout has been nixed. There is now just a single SQL Recall toolbar item.

Thanks. Now I can see it in the View menu. Anyway what is the relation between toolbars and the real menu points of Toad? How can you hide a menu point from the View menu? This was interesting for me that SQL Recall menu disappeared, because I used the Copy user Settings option and selected Toad 12.7 version.

I really don’t like to use this option (reset toolbar) because I lost my customized toolbar.
