Can I ignore certain objects by name in Toad Edge CLI schema comparison?

I am relying on CLI -compare and -sql_change switches to automate our CI/CD process. When doing schema upgrade I want to skip some user tables so they won’t be accidentally changed or dropped.

Not sure if there is a way to do that.

Hi Eugene,

Currently this is not possible, but it may be worth considering as new feature. We’ll let you know

if this will be supported in the future.

Hi Petr, Thanks for considering this.

On the UI Schema Comparing result screen allows user to ignore objects so that avoiding DROP TABLE. I assume this is not available in CLI.

Hi Eugene,

it is not available yet in CLI but we are considering adding it to the exported configuration so that you would be able to select ignored objects in compare editor and export that setting
