Can I log spool tab / pane output to a file? (5.1)

Am on 5.1, have never been able to figure out a way to do this. Since so often I get a crash of some kind before I get to save the sheer genius I was working on, it would be useful if Navigator logged activity to a file so that I don’t have to keep doing provisional saves.

Possible?

Help content seems pretty bad.

But of course I’m on version 5.1 so serves me right perhaps. Though we did pay good money at the time for it.

I’ve found 5.5 to be a tad more stable than 5.1 - is it an option for you to upgrade?
I mention 5.5 instead of 6.x, because it does not differ that much from 5.1.
