Can I run SQLcl in Toad?

Surprisingly, after many, many years of developing Oracle applications I have just learnt about SQLcl and plan to start using it in place of SQL*Plus.

I also use Toad for Oracle Base edition and I'm aware of the option to run scripts via SQL*Plus. Is it also possible to run sql scripts via SQLcl in Toad?

I haven't tried it (as I haven't yet installed SQLcl), but what if I changed the SQL*Plus command in Toad to be SQLcl instead?

I haven't tried it but it I think it will work just fine.

Now that I have installed SQLcl on my Windows PC, I can confirm that changing the Toad SQL*Plus Executable command string to run sql.exe does work and sqlcl appears to work well.
