In checking the files in C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Quest Installer, I don’t see a file named “ngenUninstall.bat” - just “Uninstall.EXE”. Is this the same thing?
The two files mentioned are in the install directory of Toad for Data Analyts.

Unfortunately, that file is nowhere to be found on my hard-drive. Perhaps this is result of the install software being run from a shared network drive.
Installing from network drive would not cause this. However, some shops unwrap our installer and take out items they don’t want installed. Perhaps this exe has been removed from your install. I have attached the NGenWrapper.exe. Please place in the install dir of TDA and run. It will take some time so watch the process window to see when done. It will output a NGen.txt file as well as the ngenUninstall.bat
Try running that and see it that changes things.

It does not appear to run (under my ID). Does this need to be run by someone with ADMIN rights on the PC?
Not usually. But perhaps you have some policy restrictions that prevent you from doing this. Can you get some assistance from your IS?
