Can't execute in editor using Toad 11.5

In Toad 11.5, the Execute/compile toolbar button is grayed out and the hot key (F9) does not work when I’m in the editor. I have tried all the available “desktop” options (PL/SQL, SQL). I did not have any problem with this in 11.0.

Is this the place to get a solution for this? If not, can someone tell me who to contact?
