Changing the default types of an excel import

Hi,

If I import an excel sheet through Tools->Import->Import Wizard, the default types of columns are INT, TIMESTAMP, NVARCHAR etc.
I can change these values into NUMBER, DATE and VARCHAR2 (my preferred choices), but isn’t it possible to change the defaults? If so, then I do not have to change the types any time I import an excel sheet!

Interesting request. We do not have default data types like that per database type. I have entered an enhancement for that. (CR84,691)
