Compare tabs in Editor

Hi

I’m comparing the contents of 2 tabs in the editor and it’s allowing me to copy changes from one to the other. But when I go to save TOAD attempts to save to a .tmp file. Does anyone know how I can save as the original files?

Wow, that’s a miss. The Editor is sending over temp files and no association to the original filename. You can copy to clipboard and Compare Files will allow you to retrieve the contents of either side. It’s not ideal, but at least you can get your changes back w/o looking for the temp file.
