Connection errors are displayed in a tmp file instead of pop-up window

Since the install of version 24.2, any connection error encountered when trying to connect to an Oracle database will display the common pop-up that used to display environment variables and/or the TNS entry used. But now that information is contained in TOA####.tmp file which TOAD then asks which app to use to view the contents.

Anyone know how to get this info display in the pop-up window again?

Sample contents of the "tmp" file (html)...

This is fixed in the upcoming 2025 R2 release.

Somewhat recently Windows started blocking loading the embedded browser from a .tmp file. I believe there is some setting for this, but I haven't found it. The upcoming Toad release handles the HTML differently.
