Copy/Paste buffer being emptied

All,

When I hit Ctrl-C with no text selected, then the copy/paste buffer is being emptied.
Ususally this occurs when I miss Ctrl-V and hit Ctrl-C in stead.
A subsequent Ctrl-V then has no effect anymore

I know - I should work more carefully.

Woudl it be possible to leave the copy/paste buffer alone when Ctrl-C is typed with no text selected?

I've installed the new beta

You're running 4 days behind our build schedule. The current beta was released last Thursday. I fixed this Friday for the next beta which will be released later today.
