Create table creates table in SYS, not connected schema

Hello,

The title say it all. I feel as if I am missing something basic. I am using 12.12.0.39.

I create a table through SQL+ and it created it in the correct schema.

Assistance would be much appreciated.

I don’t have access to a suitable environment to test this now… but what I think is happening is.

  1. Your target/connected schema has DBA rights
  2. When you connected in TOAD you had ‘connect as SYSDBA’ selected
    Please change your connection to ‘Normal’ and try again ?
