Database Diagrams

Toad for SQL Server

I have read an update that Microsoft will be removing Database Diagrams from SSMS in version 18.0. Will Toad still keep Database Diagrams in Toad for SQL Server?

I recommend you to use Toad Data Modeler. It might come now with Toad for SQL Server. You then can reverse engineer your db, create diagrams (by hand though) and export them to images or whatever.

Pretty sure we're not getting rid of (partial) ERDs in any of our Toads. User Bog is right, in that if you need a full data model, or need to create/modify an existing one, Toad Data Modeler is the solution of choice. While Toad won't generate a full model, Toad can always discover relationships from a specific object you start with, and render the diagram.
