Diagram database tool

Hello,

I've got a quick question regarding the database modeler in Toad for SQL Server.

If I reverse engineer a database (or parts of it), does it directly affect the actual database when I save the model?

This is the way the database modeler in SSMS works and that's why I don't use it. Just wanted to see if Database Modeler in Toad for SQL Server behaved the same way or if saving a model just saves the model and doesn't affect the database itself.

just to make sure - do you mean the Diagram feature of Toad? Yes, it does not affect the DB directly.
