Hello,
I was wondering if there is a quick hot key to start a new script? I can’t seem to find it.
I also thought it might be neat if you could double click to the right your current script (see screen shot) to start a new on too. Kinda of like how notepad++ does it if have ever used that application before.
thanks and keep on developing a great IDE!
Robert
Robert,
Do you mean a new editor window? If so you can just click the “Edit” icon in the tool bar between “Connect” and “Explorer”. Another option is to go to Tools > Editor.
Thanks,
Eric
Eric,
That is correct. I hoping for a keyboard hotkey so I dont have my mouse. Something like cntrl+N or cntrl+E to open a new editor window.
Thanks,
Robert
Robert,
Go to Tools > Options > Environment > Keyboard > ToolsMenu > ShowEditor
Enter the keyboard shortcut you would like to use in the “Assign keyboard shortcut” field then hit Apply.
Thanks,
Eric
Amazing! thanks. You made my day.
