Exporting to Access

Hi

I have a quick question about exporting data to Access.

I am aware that TDA allows for exporting to a new Access file. However, in my current version of Toad for Oracle, one of the features that has proven useful is an export to existing Access databases, either adding new tables to the database, overwriting existing tables, or appending data to an existing table.

I’ve had some success using heterogeneous queries to accomplish this, but I’d much prefer to be able to use the native provider for the queries. Is there any chance this option might be in the works?

Absolutely. We have the following items on the ‘to-do list’.

  1. Exporting a new table to existing access file.
  2. Appending to existing access table.
  3. Truncating then appending to existing access table.
