Fail to schedule task

Task I already scheduled which was executing fine every morning is not doing it any more. When running the task manually it works. When trying to change some parameters and re-save the task I now receive “Access Denied” after filling the details in the “Authenitcate User” screen. Although I am giving the right user/password it still showing Access Denied. The strange thing is that this task worked. Now it might have stopped since I changed the password for my machine user but even giving the new password in the screen doesn;t work. Creating a new task causes the same issue. Any idea?
