Is there a way to filter the results of a query from the results pane? In TOAD for SS there is a filter icon in upper right of every column header that shows distinct values and allows filtering. Please say there is a way to do this.

Yes, there is option for filtering query results. It is located in upper right corner for every column header.
I see no such options in my query results column header. All my column headers look like the column headers of your second and third columns. Is there a reason your 2nd and 3rd columns do not show the filter or sort options? Is there some setting I have to change in order to allow this functionality?

This option is supported in Toad Edge version 2.1.5 You can download Toad Edge 2.1.5 from here.

Yes, because my cursor was on the first column, but the option is available for all column headers you just need to set the cursor on the appropriate column.
