Hi, i have started using toad 11.5 and i would like to know if we can set the origin in find dialog box to “from cursor” by default. Currently it is “Entire Scope”. Also suggest if we can set the “Stay on top” option as unchecked by default. Due to these settings find utility searches the text from the start of the procedure always and it requires me to manually configure these two options.
Just tried 11.5 - changed the settings like you described, and then closed Toad and reopened, and the settings were saved correctly. Yours are not saved? Not sure what might cause that. Don’t think the O/S would make a difference here, but if your using something other that Windows 7, I could try to replicate on that O/S as well.
