I am running Toad for SQL Server 6.1 on a development server meant only for Toad development. I have a lot of files version controlled in Toad, and this is making my install of Toad run slow and laggy. I have extra RAM on this server that can be used by Toad to make it run faster. Is there a way to force Toad to use more RAM???
Sorry, it is not possible. Toad runs as a 32bit application and the process is limited to around 2GB. RIght now we do not post 64bit application, 64bit builder can use around 1 TB of memory.But on 64bit we will have other problem we do not know. We are focus on this now.
