When i do an FTP transfer it shows Default, ASCII or binary, but it is grayed out. I don’t see anywhere to set that. have we lost control of the ability to specify it?
This is from the current beta, but I see it in several previous GA versions too.
I just poked around in the code and it looks like the transfer mode is only enabled when the server supports changing it. I just did a quick test of it with two servers and it’s enabled with both of them.
