Grid count missing from Status Bar

After running a query in the Editor, I swear TOAD used to tell me how many records were returned and what record number I was on. For example, “Record 1 of 900”. I think it was in the status bar, right where the progress bar is shown. I see it at the bottom of the Data tab in the Database Explorer, but not beneath the Results pane in the Editor.

What did I do to turn that off and how can I get it back?

For some reason you switched off this grid option: Options|Environment|Grid - Show navigator panel.

good luck!

Thank you. I have been setting up TOAD on new PC and I new I probably unchecked some box that screwed me up. Thanks again.

You are welcome!

Michael, I believe that these options are being set a certain way at R&D, so
when a new release is installed it is suppose to pick up these setting as we
would want.

If it is a new system for the software then one of the files from like you
system should be copy and pasted on the target system, however I need to ask
what file it would be.

Soo !!! à ALEX, what file contains all the setting info from release to release
whether it be Beta or Golden

It is not a one file that contains ALL the Toad settings – it is a App
data folder where settings files for different modules are located (options,
filters, ftp connetctions etc.)
