What do we do when TOAD Edge PostgreSQL Preview expires? It switches to a freeware version? Or do I buy TOAD Edge 1.2 ? Is the same PostgreSQL support available in those products?

Hi, after your trial license expires, all commercial features will be unavailable.

But you still can use the application as freeware.

To add…we will be also releasing Toad Edge for Postgres 2 for a commercial purchase shortly.

When I try to launch it, it a modal dialog pops up and says “This version has expired. Visit https://www.quest.com and download the latest version…” When I click the CLOSE button it closes the entire app.

So no - I can’t use it after the trial has expired.

Or is there something else I need to do?

Hi, it looks like you use old version of Toad Edge Preview - version 2.0.0, there is new version of Toad Edge Preview - 2.0.1.

Hey! Maybe you are using old version of Toad Edge Preview - version 2.0.0, there is new version of Toad Edge Preview - 2.0.1. Check your version. Maybe this solves the problem(Updating).
