I have a client that we did a tech refresh of their pc, we used an App called PCT6 that creates a package of the clients settings on their computer . On the new pc we install all the Apps , then run the package, I missed toad, so none of toads settings got transfered…is there a way I can go to the old pc and export the settings and import to the new toad.
Morning,
what version of Toad have you got? It might be relevant.
If you store passwords for your connections, then these are encrypted
using the username (the login to the desktop/laptop, not the database)
and in order to be able to use them, you will need the same login name
on the new desktop/laptop.
These might help (Assuming Outlook/Yahoo doesn’t trash them of course!):
