How to create a one-to-one relationship?

I have two tables that have a one-to-one relationship linked by a common attribute. How do I represent that in TDM?

Hello,

You need to edit the relationship and define the settings in the Cardinality area.

To create a relationship and to edit it:

  1. Click the relationship icon on the toolbar.
  2. Click parent entity and then child entity in WS.
  3. Double-click the relationship to edit it.
  4. In the Relationship Properties dialog | General tab | see the Cardinality area.

I found that, but then what do I do?

Hello David,
it depends what do you do. You can change the cardinality from the default value "N" to "1" and you can also check "Mandatory child" to add one dash to the relationship line at child side end.
