Hi,
I’m trying to install Toad for SQL Server 4.6 Freeware version on my new
laptop and I’m having problems. As soon as I click ‘Next’ on the first
installation page (Reccomend you close all windows programs etc…) the
installation just seems to stop. Installation went fine on my other laptop
(Windows XP) but just wont work on my new one (Windows 7). Are there any
known issues with installing on Windows 7?

We have some other users reported the same issue and silent install worked for them. Please run a DOS with admin privilege and try the following command
“ToadforSQLServer_4.6.0.303_Freeware.exe” /S
wait for 20 minutes to see it is installed successfully.
