Sir,
Can some one answer to the question on how to load MS ACCESS file in to a oracle table using the toad import option .
see my approach below:-
1.) created table to load access file
2.) selected access file from my local drive(.MDB file)
here is the issue I am facing … I am getting below message ? I already created the table with the same structure as access file ?
A TABLE NAME MUST BE PROVIDED .
NEED HELP to RESOLVE THIS ISSUE ?
Any one’s help is really appreciated .
Your screen shots didn’t come though, so I’m not sure what the problem is. You can email them to me directly if you can’t get them to appear here. john.dorlon@quest.com
Oh, now I see “A table name must be provided”. In the “Import Table Data” dialog, did you choose a table from the Access file? (Right under where the file name is specified)
table name is not listing in the drop down (Right under where the file name is specified)
Hmmm. So when you click that drop-down arrow, it’s empty? This is where you specify the Access table (there can be more than one of them in a file).
If there are no tables listed there, that’s a bug. Can you send me your access file so I can try to determine what’s wrong?
I sent sample ms access file in email . please take a look
thanks
OK ..please find the attached access file which i am trying to load .
thanks
