is it possible to use a Modern windows open dialog for file open? TOAD is stuck in Windows XP dialog box, enhansed, OK like favorites. There are no triangles in the top navagition bar; see atached to compare Word file open to TOAD file open (in editor, but I don’t use othwers, so they may differ)

There are a couple of issues with that kind of change:
· Believe it or not, we still have a large volume of users still running Windows XP
· The “modern” dialog boxes are not customizable so it makes it nearly impossible for us to provide the things like “favorites”, “Encoding”, “File Format”
We looks at issues like this during every release and we have to weigh the cost/benefit to the users - do we “go modern” and lose functionality or do we “kick it old school” and keep the add ons. It’s always a trade off. Feel free to add this to the Idea Pond on ToadWorld and if it rockets up to the top, we will definitely take a harder look.
