Is it possible and fairly easy to move the Data Folder of the TIC (Toad Intelligence Central) server after installation? If not, does it require a full re-install?
Sure. See this backup topic of the Toad Intelligence Central Deployment guide.

May i know the TIC version that you use?
We recommend you to move TIC data files between TIC servers which are in same version. (e.g. from 4.3.0 to 4.3.0, from 5.0.2 to 5.0.2).
If you want to move TIC data folder from one server to another server, under same path location (e.g. from D:\TICData on server A to D:\TICData on server B), then you can follow the backup topic in deployment guide which was mentioned by Debbie.
If you want to move TIC data folder from one server to another server, but to different path location (e.g. from D:\TICData on server A to E:\TICData on server B), then you can follow the backup topic in deployment guide to move data from server A to server B at first, then make configuration changes to change data path location:
Under TIC application file location:
change path value to new one for below fields in \Toad Intelligence Central\datahub.cnf
- hub_configuration_path
- datadir
- tmpdir
change path value to new one for below fields in \Toad Intelligence Central\appserver\ToadBIAppserver.exe.config
- AppServer_Data_Folder
change path value to new one for below fields in \Toad Intelligence Central\hubproxy\config.ini
- log-file
- audit-log
Then restart all Toad* services under your new server.
Thank you very much! This worked and saved me a lot of frustration!
