New install of Toad for DB2 Z/OS

ERROR [42724] [IBM] SQL1109N The specified DLL “GSKit Error: 202” could not be loaded. SQLSTATE=42724

While trying to connect to my databases.

SSL Client key information is blank.

I have my current “Path” set to:

C:\app\PT42970\product\11.2.0\client_3;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%systemroot%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0;%systemroot%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0;C:\Program Files (x86)\1E\NomadBranch;C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueZone\6.1;C:\Program Files\CREDANT\Shield v6.8.2;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\FUNCTION;C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTSystem\

Since I do Oracle work as well.

Hi,

We have seen this error after DB2 10.5 64-bit installation. What helped here was machine reboot, since the installation is changing your PATH.

After that you should see gsk8 added in your path and the error message should be gone:

C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN>echo %PATH%

C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN…\db2tss\bin;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN…\db2tss\bin;C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN;C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\FUNCTION;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\system32\wbem;C:\Windows\system32\windowspowershell\v1.0;c:\program files\ibm\gsk8\lib64;c:\program files (x86)\ibm\gsk8\lib

Hope it helps

Zdenek

Morning. I figured that would do
it… but it didn’t. I am going to add the path manually if at all
possible. Just haven’t had time lately… fighting fires…

Robert,

If you are showing your PATH environment variable in your previous post, it does not appear that it has been modified to include the gsk8 directories. Can you re-confirm that those are in the PATH and confirm exactly what directory names the gsk8 files are in?

Thanks

Jeff

Already did that and it is still not working
for windows 7… I am working with Dell Support on this one.

Thanks,

Rob.
