Recently upgraded to 2026 R1.
The Object Explorer keeps switching to Treelist view.
Oracle likes any of the other views. With Treelist it doesn't display anything.
I keep setting it to Tabbed, but on the next day...back to Treelist.

Could you please tell me if there is a specific workflow when the issue occurs? Or does it appear to set the Treelist view for each new session of Toad regardless of the workflow?
Open Toad Workbook.
Start New Workbook.
Name new workbook.
Go to the first workflow, click to Build Result Set.
Select Add new Query Editor.
Select connection.
Query Editor window appears, Object Explorer is empty.
Switch from Treelist to Tabbed and the objects appear.

The issue that you are experiencing in Toad Workbook has been logged as QAT-22596 and is specific to Toad Workbook (meaning, that it the problem is not present in Toad Data Point).

Coincidentally, it just occurred in Toad Data Point this morning, as well. 
Just to confirm - is it the same use case in TDP: Working with a single Oracle connection, and upon opening TDP (which had previously been set to tabbed view), it opens the Treelist view?
If, for example, the workflow involves working with multiple connections and creating cross-connection queries, it is by design that Toad switches to treelist view.
