Problem Inversion Order Number vs. Letters

Hi,

I have Toad 9.5 installed on a laptop and Toad 9.7 installed on a desktop.

On the first one once using order by on a field containing IDs being numbers or Text , numbers are ranked first. On the desktop it is the reverse.

How do I set-up things to get the same way of ranking / ordering?

are you talking about the sorting of the objects in the schema browser left hand side?

If so, we use the windows “CompareString” function to sort there. So Regional Settings in Control Panel could have an effect on this. Make sure the settings are the same on the two computers.
