HI, I recently installed TDM 3 trial version as I would like an ER diagram of my existing production database. On that note, is there a performance impact on my production server while performing reverse engineering? Do I need to do this off hours?

Hi,
it is hard to answer your question. I don’t know how big your database is and what types of objects you wish to reverse engineer etc. Set of queries needs to be sent to your database in order to get necessary data about your database structure.
I recommend you to try the reverse engineer features on similarly big “test” database.
