When you click on the data, also click on the table that this query is related to. You will see your query in the data tab and can edit.

You need to delete your ReportLayouts.xml file. This will reset the docked tabs. To do so follow these steps:

  1. Open About box and click on App data dir.

  2. Shut down TDP leaving the windows explorer open pointing to app data dir.

  3. In the windows explorer delete the Reportslayout.xml in the Layouts directory.

  4. Restart TDP.

I did not find Reportslayout.xml in the directory so I removed ReportDesigner.xml instead.
