Query tab missing in Toad workbook

My query tab in Toad workbook has recently disappeared so I only have the diagram and results tab. I am able to temporarily restore it by clicking the "restore default layout" button in Settings/Database/Query Builder, but when I close the Toad session and re-open the tab is missing again.

Hi Steve,

You can try two things.

  1. Reset setting as you are doing but in normal Toad Data Point and not in WB. This setting is shared and TDP always save setting when you close it.
  2. If it doesn't help you can try to remove setting manually. It should be enough to remove file stored here (you have to remove it before you start TDP):
    C:\Users<YourUser>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad Data Point 5.0\Layouts\QueryBuilder.xml
    and
    C:\Users\fcevela\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad Data Point 5.0\ModuleSettings\QueryBuilderSettings.xml

Filip, I removed the 2 files and that seemed to work.
