One of the frustrating things with data point is that it takes so long to read in the metadata needed for intellesense each time the active database changes. A possible solution to this would be to allow users to provide a list of commonly used databases and read the metadata for all of them when toad opens. I use a list of databases in my database filter that could be a possible source for the list of DBs to use.
If that is not possible, improving the speed of reading the metadata would be great. It seems that DBeaver reads the metadata much faster (Teradata is my primary DBMS).
