I’m using Toad for Oracle 12.1. Is there a setting somewhere so Toad remembers the editor tabs that were left open the last time Toad was used? The desired behavior is when Toad is opened the next time, those same editor tabs are automatically open. This saves having to go reopen them all again. Toad for SQL Server has this functionality.
Toad for SQL Server is a different product written in different language by different dev team. The schema browser in Toad for SQL Server is different in basic GUI design. It’s more of a browser on left with on right separate launched windows. So they can do this whereas toad for oracle cannot.
You can save your workspace. See the workspace dropdown and associated buttons on the main Toad toolbar. It saves your entire Toad session, not just the Editor.
