Secure External Password Store

Toad for Oracle & DevOps Toolkit

Hi All,

i have installed Secure External Password Store(oracle wallet) in client side

Our developers are using TOAD.

So how can be possible connect to connection string (from client to server) using toad? I want developers to connect using connection string. Not by username and passwd.

Please suggest

Hi,

I think all you need to do is leave username and password blank in Toad, and only specify the tns entry in the “Database” box in Toad’s login window.
