Anyone have any experience with Oracle wallet? I’m working on a project that is probably going to require it, at least on production, but I’m told that my coworker who is testing it can’t connect to Toad via the wallet.

I’ve used the wallet for encryption and it works fine in Toad. That’s all handled at the Oracle client level, so Toad didn’t have to do anything special to make it work. I would guess that walleted passwords would be handled by the Oracle client, and would work just find in Toad, but I haven’t tested that.
OK, I just tried it and it seems to work fine for me. In Toad, you need to use EXTERNAL for the username and leave the password blank.
Nevermind. I just found docs on toadworld. Should have looked the first.
