Hello,
Can anybody tell me if there is a way to create a shortcut key for Record Count, or a way to write a macro to do it and assign it to a customised button?
My Num rows column on the Schema Browser is always unreliable (for reasons I’ve read on here)
many thanks
Not sure if there is a shortcut but you can just right click the dataset and select ‘Record Count…’
Thanks alancouniham,
Thats what I have been using but I do it so frequently that I’m getting RSI. Wimpy I know! Also there’s quite a big list when you right click and it takes a while to spot it on the menu.
I don’t know if it’s any faster, but you can F10 to make the menu appear, then up arrow 6 times to get to the “Record Count” item.

Ah, thanks. That probably would help yes. Less strain on the eyes and wrist. These 10 hour days are playing havoc on the body.
